Connections in people

Just being kinda emo right now. I had this case study earlier today, about connections between people (more or less something like that la). It's just talking about how people nowadays got disconnected from each other, and thus the not-my-business things. And wars :p

Then Colin showed us this video



Im totally being supportive in this thing. I mean i'd definitely sign the petition and be part of it if i was there! Im serious! Don't look at me so skeptically.

Because...

Ever wondered what it felt like when you're feeling all down and all you needed was a hug? A hug that would make you feel as if the world is not turning its back on you? A hug that would makes you feel that everything would be alright? A hug that lets you know that someone out there cares about you?

And then, there was no one who is even bothered to give you a sincere hug.


Felt kinda crappy?

So... SPREAD THE HUGS!


After this video, it kind of inspired me in doing something i thought i'd never do. I sign-up with the Community Service in uni, where starting next week, we'd just live on AUD5 each day for a week. (I don't really see the point in this, maybe to let us know the value of money, but then i know there must be a point there).

Anyways, i'm looking forward to it :) and being quite excited about it, really!


And another thing, i registered with Colin and Jeremy to join the 40-hour famine :) I'm not sure if this is a harsh decision to make, but seriously, im quite eager to experience this thing hand-on!
And i think it's totally meaningful!

40-hours may sounds like a long time... even longer without foods... But come to think of it, it's not even up to 2 days!!
